Autoglym Aqua Wax - try it - lazy way to wax your car - takes about 10 minutes

I agree, I used some AG Paint Restorer on the D3 doors and wings, it got all the marks and bramble rash out very quickly, then a coat of normal wax, now keep it topped up with Aqua wax.

I know it sounds like an Autoglym advert, but I use the AG Super Resin Polish, finished with the AG Extra Gloss protection.

I'm sure that there are other comparable products out there, but I got bought a Censored load of Autoglym stuff for christmas Thumbs Up

Agree with Gareth - used Autoglym for years, wash with Autoglym shampoo, dry with Autoglym synthetic chamois and microfibre cloths, wax with Autoglym resin and seal with Extra gloss protection about ever 6 months. Just started using Aqua Wax, which IMO is the dogs, as said, only takes about 10 mins which on a car the size of a D3, is not bad going - smells great as well Thumbs Up

I'm obviously not firing on all 4 today!
So, "wash with Autoglym shampoo, dry with Autoglym synthetic chamois and microfibre cloths, wax with Autoglym resin and seal with Extra gloss protection about ever 6 months" When do you use the AutoGlym Aqua Wax? Confused

I will agree that SR Polish topped up with EG Protection is an excellent polish / glaze combo, I can't get on with their shampoo and have had some unsatisfactory results with some of their other products !

I've been very happy with MUCOFF car shampoo, smells like apples.
It stays soapy and bubbly throughout the bucket full and lifts grime effortlessly.

I've got my favourite polish & glaze and also use a spritz type thing in between polishing !

The resin polish and High Gloss where the old routine - takes some time and missus used to go mad about 'spending to much time on car, not cleaning house ect'
Started using Aqua Wax this spring and results seem just as good as resin polish ect
Used it about 3 times this year with one High Gloss application
Mate also used it this weekend on black BMW, - looks graet - so works well on dark colours as well

I used some good old Turtle wax shampoo last weekend did a reasonable job but does NOT shift those little pips of tree resin/bitumen off the bonnet, got swirls in the paintwork trying to work those out Sad

Aqua Wax is used every time I wash the car, after a quick shammy, spray liberally with AW (does not matter if there is some residual water about) then buff off with microfibre.

Do you have to avoid the black and plastic trim like you do with some waxes .

I'm also an Aqua Wax fan.

It doesn't give the thickest protection and best level of beading - But, it's superb for speed and most importantly being able to shine and protect even the glass, chrome and black plastic too. No white powdery residues.
