Where do you get the software up-dates from? I have a blackbox faultmate MSV and wondered what was involved to up-date the software?

You get the updates from the Blackbox website in the download section where your tup codes are stored click on the link and it takes you to a page where you select the files for your car.

Yes I did this mod on mine after having had the function activated by Gordon at 4-Tech, mainly because I had already acquired a RRS dash as a donor for parts. I used the clock overlay, (the printed plastic sheet with the clock markings and warning light symbols,) and swapped the relevant led from the main circuit board, there are quite a number of green led's on there.
and just stick with the FBH symbol instead of the lights one, I guess it doesn't really matter that much so long as you know what it means.

if anyone is in the midlands area would love the update doing near nottingham here, new to the d3 got a freelander 2 as well going back soon though the d3 is so luxurious the other seems like a tractor!
