I don't see it that way, and yes I can read and perhaps not the dim wit you think I am. Show me in the policy where it says that each component will be treated as as separate claim and the excess will apply to each component.
If the suspension on one side goes than it is far to assume both side will be affected and as it was all changed at one time as far as I am concerned it is one claim.
I use Stuart Armson of Armson Automotive Engineers in Syston Leicestershire.

Perhaps you work for these bozos?????
No need to get abusive, I said that issue had been discussed loads of times on here, do a search yourself (there is even a discussion on EGR's being classed as separate claims if both went at once)
I haven't found it in my policy as I said, a copy of which is posted on this site. As for each item being a separate claim without being rude I would see that as common sense, otherwise some people will go to a garage with a vehicle that is falling apart and get lot's of different things done under one claim and put my premiums up!
Speak with them, I am sure they will tell you all you need to know, and post back on here as it will be of help to others including myself

I had a claim for suspension and ball joints on both sides and only one excess was deducted. I also then had a further claim for 5 items, but the suspension both sides and wheel bearings both sides were each treated as one claim each and so £50 for both bearings and £50 for both suspension bushes.
I would write to them and ask for a explanation, I did this too. They did only pay for 50% of the wheel alignment as they said only the front was worked on. It would be easy to argue about it as they don't do 2 wheel alignment on a D3, but I couldn't be bothered at the time.

I learnt everything on here, read some warranty threads it is all there
Better get a warranty NOW before the LR one expires to ensure you get the continued wear & tear cover or you could face a 90 day (I think) penalty where it is not covered
