I might go ahead and cut it and make a temporary set up, until I can obtain the correct cap from the dealer.

Thanx. Looks like I'll be searching it out this weekend when I install the new trailer towing harness that arrived yesterday. I don't have a write-up. Suffice to say the rear seal leaked again...so I had it replaced again...using a LR seal. And...once again, it is leaking...same side, just not as bad. So at this point, I am just living with it. The non-Rover dealership from which I purchased the vehicle most likely will not be interested in going at it a 3rd time on their dime.
