| Discovery 3 crankshaft broken |

A friend of mine has his disco 3 in at his local dealer & they have diagnosed the problem with the engine as a broken crankshaft. Has anyone else heard of this ? It is a 57 plate done approx 55000 miles.

Have heard of it but not experienced first hand. My local dealer has seen a few that have done this.
