I understand that is the case - removed from the UK only, so should remain available elsewhere. All a bit odd and the Pirelli folk I spoke to couldn't really explain why the UK didn't need these tyres!
I suppose UK based folk with a desperate need for these could always take a trip over the water and buy in France.

My 18" ATRs balanced fine - and that was with stick ons. I believe that Pirellis are known for mass imbalances around the carcass but "my tyre man" never expressed any difficulties. One of my rims in particular has a lot of stick-on lead on it...
I've had about 15k out of my ATRs so far and they've probably got 6mm tread left. They're quiet, they grip well and they last a long time.
I've got GG AT2s on my Transporter 4wd and I prefer the Pirellis. The AT2s will probably last longer though and they are significantly cheaper. I've not tried the newer GG AT Club missing my D3

My AT'2 curently 14k with about 8mm left so wearing well at the moment
