It appears that this is strictly a Pirelli UK range issue and that they will be available in other markets Question

I understand that is the case - removed from the UK only, so should remain available elsewhere. All a bit odd and the Pirelli folk I spoke to couldn't really explain why the UK didn't need these tyres!

I suppose UK based folk with a desperate need for these could always take a trip over the water and buy in France.

My 18" ATRs balanced fine - and that was with stick ons. I believe that Pirellis are known for mass imbalances around the carcass but "my tyre man" never expressed any difficulties. One of my rims in particular has a lot of stick-on lead on it...

I've had about 15k out of my ATRs so far and they've probably got 6mm tread left. They're quiet, they grip well and they last a long time.

I've got GG AT2s on my Transporter 4wd and I prefer the Pirellis. The AT2s will probably last longer though and they are significantly cheaper. I've not tried the newer GG AT
