On the way back I thought to stop by this shop called "Action". They sell everything from shampoo to inflatable dolls and found a NoName Semi Syn Jaso FC at £ 3.18 incl vat
Is there some issue with burn temperature and residue with FD?

AIUI, Semi or Fully synthetic does not have the same chemical make up of mineral oil, and doesnt mix properly with the fuel. Again AIUI, it wont cause any issues, but is a waste of time + money.
The above may or may not be true, but all I ever used was a cheapo JASO FC (because I am a tight ! ) and never had any issues
The best oil you can use is a mineral JASO FD, but finding it at the right price proves tricky
Mineral JASO FC is the most commonly available, and is usually the cheapest. Currently £5 for a litre of Catrol Actevo from Tesco

Got the FC stuff from ASDA £5 per 1 litre.
Did I read somewhere the dosage is 5ml per 1 litre of diesel?
Thanks
