Asda £5 Always have Tesco £5.98 as back-up. I think general consensus is 250 ml per full tank (>80 ltrs-ish)
I put 250ml in for for the following reasons;
I'm from Yorkshire and I'm thrifty
X4 applications per 1litre bottle
I can still notice a difference when it is not applied to the fill up !
400 ml in every tank full would play havoc with my in built Eco mode
I'm off to Tesco in a bit for another bottle Only dead fish go with the Flow !

I thought it was agreed that if you didnt have a DPF then mineral FB was fine (£21 for 5 liters at my local motor place)

Al I think that's right,
FB = most of us D3 with the odd exception ? DPF would have definately been an option on the later D3's
FC = all of us, those that want slightly better protection from a better grade of oil for older D3's / those that have later D3's with DPF and those that have early D4's with the DPF as an option AND last but not least newer D4's that have DPF's fitted as standard !
FD = for those with a grudge against money !

There are far too many abreviations....
Which 2 stroke oil is used? Mineral, semi or full synthetic?
Are most people putting 250ml or 500ml into a full tank?

FB = mineral
FC = mineral / also available as a semi synth
FD = Fully Synth
I've used FB mineral for about 10k ! Its about £5 per litre
I sometimes use FC, I find this harder to get hold of and it tends to be about £10 per litre, it is available on line delivered to asda for £5 ?
FD = Fully Synth £15 - £20 a litre ?
I don't know how much people are putting in their tank ?
I put 250ml in mine
The general consensus is that FC is the one to use,
As I said I've used both FB & FC !Only dead fish go with the Flow !

I've got a 58 reg so I assume semi synthetic is best? Are they marked FB / FC on the container?

Just use Castrol Actevo which is mineral JASO FC @ £5 a litre from ASDA Direct. The "recommended" dose is 1:200, so for a "full" tank of 80lt put in 400ml of 2T. That is the "recommended" dose but its up to you, some people use less to make it a bit more economical

I've just ordered 5 bottles.... for £2.95 delivery that seemed the easier option for me! Lets see if it works..... At 1 litre bottles think 500ml seems an easy amount to put in....

Well for £2.95 delivery, it saves you going to pick up in-store, especially if you are quite a bit away from an ASDA.
