Hi, what did install exactly istall, type and brand? Any other modifications, or just plug and play? Thx
It seems that oem non adaptive xenon has absolutely similar design, i mean lens, i.e. all we need is just to replace the lamp?!

Yes that's the kit I used.

What about the light quality? Is it bright enough and well focused? Any artefacts?

The first drive after fitting them I was amazed!!!! I had to re align the lights by eye as they were too bright to cars that I was overtaking on dual carriage way. That first drive I didn't bother to use main beam at all.
I also got girlfriend to drive car towards me while I was in hers. They are very bright to look at but not dazzling.
All I need to do is change the awful side light bulb for an LED one.

Can this kit be used to replace the OEM halogen bulbs in my D3 "S"?
Did you go for the 6000K, 5000K, or 8000K?
Does the usual HIDS4U discount code apply to these kits?

How were these wired up please? it's yet another upgrade I would like to do, but unless the wiring is very basic I would probably get someone to do it....

On the back of the bulb is a plug, plug the new wire loom into that Plug. It's that simple......
Only tricky part is cutting a hole in the round rubber cover that covers the bulb access. Either use scissors or as I did a hole cutter on my drill
I went for 6000k as its slightly whiter.
PM HIDS4U on here for discount code

Hi all
disco3hid should work if not disco315
The d3 needs the ultimate h7r kit to stop glare.
Results are quite amazing.
And yes plug and play. No wiring changes.
If you have the option to get the ccf changed to say it has xenons s its a good thing to do
Best Regards Ian
