Don't bother with the K&N filter makes no difference and is less efficient in filtering dudt than the OEM.

K&N is a waste of time on a D3 and would assume even less useful on a D4

Hs been discussed on here and AULO site. There was a test doc which showed very slight increase in airflow but Censored all diffference. The conclusion was there is no real advantage over OEM filters.
Donaldson air bath filters did seem to get results but are not realy prsctical.

It could be OEM filters have improved in recent years.

The K&N is a lot less from Paddocks though, is it different for a 4?

In my 3 I thought there was a difference, a bit more perky, nothing with evidence though.

Do not fit a K&N to a D3 or D4.

Do fit an OEM filter.

Do not stick to the LR schedule.

Do fit a new one every year.

Think that covers it.

Hi, what did install exactly istall, type and brand? Any other modifications, or just plug and play? Thx
It seems that oem non adaptive xenon has absolutely similar design, i mean lens, i.e. all we need is just to replace the lamp?!
