I agree with Stew but also like number 2. The ones of the horse just dont look very good, the first makes the horses eyes look odd. The also seems to be a trend at the moment for out of focus pictures like 10 but i cant say I'm that keen. Thats just my opinion though. The main thing is getting out and actually taking pictures that you like and enjoy Thumbs Up

On an image such as 7 focus on the eyes so they are the sharpest part, especially if shooting with a wide aperture.

I am a professional photographer thanks Rolling Eyes

I wouldn't take much notice of photographer forums. Too many tech geeks nowadays.

I would join a local club where they run 'days out' or 'themed shoots' for hands on experience. Thumbs Up

digital, would love for Mark to be able to join a local club, there currently is not one local to us and the closest is 20 plus miles away. Mark is trying to learn/teach himself, I cannot offer much in the way of advise as I am not a photographer, but will offer support and I must admit he seems to have an eye for getting a good picture, just needs help support with the tech bit I believe. Thumbs Up Am aware there are a lot of good and helpful people Bow down Bow down on here so that is why Mark is asking for your honest opinions and help.
