Don't bother with the K&N filter makes no difference and is less efficient in filtering dudt than the OEM.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

K&N is a waste of time on a D3 and would assume even less useful on a D4Duncan

Hs been discussed on here and AULO site. There was a test doc which showed very slight increase in airflow but all diffference. The conclusion was there is no real advantage over OEM filters.
Donaldson air bath filters did seem to get results but are not realy prsctical.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

It could be OEM filters have improved in recent years.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

The K&N is a lot less from Paddocks though, is it different for a 4?
+1 Cheers Ian

Hi, what did install exactly istall, type and brand? Any other modifications, or just plug and play? Thx
It seems that oem non adaptive xenon has absolutely similar design, i mean lens, i.e. all we need is just to replace the lamp?!
