How much is the discount? got a relative who works at senior management level for Tata steel in Netherlands and the States.. wondering if the scheme is easy/worth the effort to bother him?

I have heard that under the employee scheme certain land Rover / Range Rovers are not available. For example I understand that employye cant not buy the new Range Rover Aluminium but they could in the future aloow employee to buy it for a short period of time and then Land Rover will take offer off for employees.

Can some one confirm if this is true? Crying or Very sad

I can get around 15% off any brand new land rover though the armed forces scheme.
Shame I am not in a position to purchase one - would be a substantial saving for someone

Yes the Tata scheme can exclude some models and at the moment I think the Evoke is excluded. The armed forces scheme seemed to give me 15% off any model. Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

A mate of mine ordered a D3 HSE a few years ago through the scheme for a friend that owned a garage - the "friend" paid for the car and deposit and upon completing the deal and collecting the brand new car he handed it over to the dealer mate who sold it on his forecourt for a substantial profit! Punted my mate a grand for his trouble!

Shame you are limited to one a year!
