It depends what it is being flashed with, for £25 You can obtain the latest software available for your GB from GAP and install it yourself with an iIid tool which I assume a man of your calibre already has.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Ive got the same problem (fluctuating revs) so want a gearbox flush!
Anyone near Newbury / Reading that have used a local to do it and can make a recommendation?
Have sent and left a few messages for Bodsey but no replies so far, so need a plan B!Never trust a skinny chef

Added 2 x tubes Dr Tranny yesterday. Very simple (Other than the angle of the jubilee clip head initially). Notable improvement this morning!
I know its only a temp fix, but in current environment, i cant take it anywhere for a flush or fluid replacement. Though i think the TC is on its way.Never trust a skinny chef

Hi there, 1st post on this site, looking forward to getting lots of help from helpfull people. Just got myself a D3, 07 plate, 110k, HSE, diesel auto, and I think my revs are fluctuating. Not sure of the auto filter has ever been replaced of if this is within "tolerances" Can anyone let me know if the Torque converter is on its way out or if a flush / filter replacement will get me through? Thanks
Hope the link works

Personally i would drain the box, then add the Dr Tanny through the filling hole before topping up with fresh fluid.
That way you have at least 50% new fluid and Dr Tranny

I had the box megaflushed and I cant seem to see any jumping around by the revs... not that it was that bad before but anyway, chaps who did it said the oil smelled fine and was not a terrible colour.
No for the next issue, check brake pads indicator just appear so that my next job!
