Collected brand new Disco 4 Commercial SDV6 on Thursday and decided its not for me.

Was intending to buy a 5 series for long distance comfort and wifey innocently said "why not get a Disco instead, you always wanted one" and tbh I have kicked their tyres a few times.
Took a demo for a spin and was seduced by the 'substance' of the thing. And having owned both a Disco 1 and 2 many years ago (which i had love / hate relationships with) I was eager to have another relationship...
However the honeymoon period didn't last. The bubble burst and I just don't think its for me. Decided its best to get out of it whilst as new to somebody that wants to avoid the waiting list.
Time will tell.

Each to their own... I have a 2011 (F11) 530d Touring M Sport and after a year I don't get on with it because of the way it handles. It's not the car I expected/hoped it to be... I have an X3 35d MSport on order to replace it. Still love driving Lou's Disco 3, it's great - and I considered a Disco 4 before settling with the X3.08 Plate Disco 3 HSE TDV6 Auto
