Tree Sliders

Does anyone have any experience of the Dirt Monkey Off-road tubular rock and tree sliders ? Was just wondering what the quality and fit to vehicle was like before spending some hard earned cash . Any thoughts ? TIA

Sorry but no idea on quality, but have you looked at Shires?

They appear to be on “promotion” from £240 to £300 exc vat. Laughing

However still good bit cheaper than DM.

I run them, had them on for just under 3yr, they’re nice n beefy and do the job. Thumbs Up

I got mine from TP4x4 and they galvanized instead of powder coated. Will no doubt out last the vehicle.
Fitting was easy, taking the rusted lumps of side steps off was harder.

I have the shire fabrication sliders and I must say they are excellent. Super strong and looks miles upon miles better than other ones available. They've been on the car approx 5/6 years and still look new. They were raptor coated prior to going on which may have helped prevent any rust etc

Hi All
Yes I had seen the shires ones but overlooked in favour of dirt monkey as I thought they weren’t as step like as the dirt monkey ones. However after hearing from you lot I like the sound of galvanised and even more like the idea of raptor /linex coated ones . That type of finish is indestructible, I had some sliders on a (ahem) jeep 😅 many years ago that I coated with that sort of stuff however hadn’t give that any thought. Good shout and thanks all 👍

I have the Shires sliders, they are substantial but look very shabby now. Raptor coating may helped, but I just fitted them as they were supplied
