Quite possibly...and courtesy of interest free loans at full retail value from 'mugs' like us.

That was advertised March time last year on their Facebook page, around the same time as I had waited nearly 3 months for my XB300, having paid up front.

I've now within the last 2 days sourced and purchased via my own means a brand new Xanadoo upper boot basket and a nearly new, Xbb800, in total for about half the price I of the unfulfilled order I had cancelled with the company directly.
I still haven't received my refund despite a promise from Stu that it would be done later in the day on Thursday 2 days ago.

If you paid with a credit card it can take a few days for the payment processor (Stripe in this case) and card issuer (usually bank) to post the funds back to your card. I’m not sure where that time is spent but that’s the way it seems to be.
(Glad to hear you found the kit)

Yes maybe kajtzu, but normally with that particular credit card account, all pending transactions show up quickly whether payments or receipts.
Sorted in the end, but the company themselves in this respect were useless. Good product, very poor customer service, and if he is not careful as has already been mentioned by others, this aspect could kill his business dead in the water, regardless of the product quality.

Update, no refund received from Stu at Xanadoo but acknowledged that order is cancelled.

Not heard much about this for a while so assumed it had all gone "good" again ... then saw this on a Facebook page ...
Quote:
After much deliberation over these past few months due to repeated member comments & PM’s to individual members of the Admin team regarding Xanadoo Boot Baskets & Adventure Overland Products we have taken the decision to remove both the company & owners details from both the group and sales pages & wish to make it clear that neither page is associated with either business or the listed.
Whilst we don’t know the whole story as to why these events have unfolded in the way they have due to the lack of communication we cannot condone these actions but clearly go against the principles which this group was founded upon.
The decision to remove them both from this group is with immediate effect
