Having got fed up with unreliable and frankly dishonest buyers on eBay, I decided to give FB marketplace a try. I am selling some drums/cymbals. Three people contacted me, all of whom were scammers. Two tried to tell me that UPS would collect the items and hand me cash on collection. The third tried an elaborate Paypal-related scam that would, had I fallen for it, have involved me sending them money!
Are there no honest people left online?
The forum is, of course, exempt from criticism.

FREEVIEW - a totally inept company who seriously shouldn't be responsible for supplying the country's TV service.
No service yet again when there is big TV audiences (half way through the rugby this evening), this is now beyond a joke.
Emailed Owen Jenkinson who claims to be the UK Director, suggesting he should feel very guilty at taking a salary for being at the helm of a failing company. Be interesting to see if he has the balls to respond, or will suggest to a minion to placate me, or just keep stum.

Seems to be back with a vengeance here. Out of an office of eleven people five confirmed cases off for a week and one unconfirmed (but probable) who was the 'illest' of the lot. Most were mild cold/sniffles and raspy throats.
Then I was at my mum's care home and their two cases became about 15 overnight and I'd been in the middle of them all at the weekend.
Dunno how I haven't got it again
