6 CD stereo

6 CD stereo

Hi just a quick one.
I had the chance to swap the original stereo for a 6 CD stereo.
Now everything worked except for the sound.. Question Question no matter what i did i just couldn't get any sound.

Could this be the wiring or...

D3 with the box stanard stereo in

AFAIK the 6cd system has an amplifier under the drivers seat whereas the standard radio does not, maybe this explains your problem?

Also you might have to modify the CCF with a IID tool or similar to inform the car's brain of the new unit

What model stereo are you trying to fit? Should be on the front over the screen e.g. CD 400

But i thought it would be just a "plug and play"?
