Well the scan for the VCI code is not necessary. Set the iPad to the page requesting the code then plugged the unit into the car , switched on the ignition , up came the AP identification when the BT was activated . The code went into the VCI box then paired it up and hey presto it’s a solid blue light and its good to go. Downloaded the Discovery software now need to figure out how to use the thing! Must say I’m a bit apprehensive of doing something stupid with it. Anyway thanks for the help. Once you have defeated the idiots any job is half done. Pity there are so many idiots to defeat.

Please...
If anyone has one of these and has figured out how to get into the area that provides the ‘time done’ or ‘distance run’ in the various terrain modes, as some have managed to do, I’d love to know the steps to get there!
I’ve had mine over a week now and it is frustrating the crap out of me that I can’t seem to find it. God knows I’ve tried!
Simple instructions for an idiot will do and thank you in advance.. 🙏🙏🙏
Cheers,
Mick Mick

Yes please Kev, that would be brilliant if you don’t mind 👍
To give you an idea of the level of my technical prowess, I haven’t even found the ‘terrain mode menu string’
Hopefully that’ll give you an idea of the level of guidance I need 😂😂

Spent the afternoon scanning and deleting historic issues
I have two issues left one I sort of know about:-
1. B1C57-14
System: BCM - Body Control Module
Description: Unused relay drive
Status: Permanent
No idea what this means
2. B1B78-84
System: HVAC Module
Description: System pressure
Status: Permanent
So that is why my AC doesn't work! ha
My D3 as completed 89700 miles
Nice to find out it has completed 0 miles in Mud, Sand, Rock Crawl modes, 31 miles in grass and snow
Really impressed with the unit
If you click on the small ! Mark it explains that fault 1 in your list requires no action

It's a good bit of kit. Occasionally difficult to get the BT to connect, but once it is, it's great.
There's a thread here on the mileage/distance/time stored in the Terrain Response ECU using Autel.

Ran it for the first time this morning. Impressive piece of kit so far . Need to get the D3 off the stops! Two
codes stick out both labelled “historic”
C1a94-78. Front right hand speed sensor
C1b00-27. Steering angle sensor.
Question does it mean
1 that the speed sensor is duff?
2 does the steering angle sensor need recalibration
1 is straight forward have replaced it before but how do you recalibrate them steering angle sensor with the unit?
Any help much appreciated in these trying times when your on your own Once you have defeated the idiots any job is half done. Pity there are so many idiots to defeat.

Can someone paste an up to date Amazon link, please? So I can order one.
The one I found was ‘out of stock’
Can you guys confirm that this also clears air bag and EML lights once you’ve sorted the fault?

G3Z - search on Amazon for Autel Maxi AP200 and you should get a link.
They were around £70 on Amazon when I got mine a few weeks ago so I went of flea bay and found a UK seller offering one for £61.99 or Best Offer so I tried my luck. Offered him £47.50 and he accepted first time.
It arrived 2 days later by 1st Class tracked and signed for....
Great bit of kit Mick
