Took the cooler box from SWMBO's SE & fitted it into my S, wiring was there & no issues. Biggest problem was understanding LR's crap instructions and getting the cubby box lid out the way. Will be taking it all out and fitting the new one into mine & refit SWMBOs.

Fitted mine to the D4 today, took about 15 minutes. The instructions are as usual not great. Two problems I had, first the trims that hold the cubby box lid on do not just pull off, they have to twist towards the back and then lift off. The old box in the D4 has three prongs that fit into the normal metal clips fitted on LR's, need to give it a good tug to release it, once it was out the new one dropped in very easy.
Just to confirm with the D4 as soon as it is turned off, the fridge unit shuts down.

Cheers Nick top service as usual. Thumbs Up

Anyone come up with a nifty way to blank off this slot at the back, where on the D4 the iPod cable runs through?

would a small bit of black H trim slipped into the slot, the sort used to join "formica" type panels together work?

Yes fit the cable and gromet for the IPOD connection, sorry I realise that not all have this. What about a small section of windscreen rubber, just a thought, or the H trim that connects ply wood panels together at the back of MFI type units.

Ah, slight misunderstanding... What I meant was if anyone has two pieces of MFI H section, then I'll have the second one Embarassed

Right been and had a good look round at work tonight, all cupboards and desks have solid one piece backs so no H section.
What about a small piece of black plastic shaped and glued in place?
