I'm just sorry for Martin.
He registered Disco5 and set up the forum and nobody is going to buy the car.
So much money and time wasted

He doesn't want too many peeps over there, he has enough trouble keeping us in line.

I don't think so; lots of people will buy the D5, a great many more than the numbers that bought the D4 I would suggest - it's just that many of those buyers will be new to Land Rover, the majority are unlikely to come from here.2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Site users here represent less than 5% of all D3/4's ever made ...we are not 'little fish in a big pond' ...as far as LR are concerned we are not even fish 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Agreed, many will be ex Merc, BMW and Audi owners so build quality and customer care will need to be upto scratch. I was a total Audit nut at one stage owning many from new and would have gone ballistic over the issues i have had with my current car if it was from Audi. I think we are a bit soft on Landrover at times as if it just comes with the territory of owning a LR the potential new customers will not be as soft MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

I think we're in agreement on where the new customers will be coming from
I wouldn't make too many positive assumptions about BMW's customer service; in my own direct and indirect experience, certainly BMW could learn some positive things from Land Rover!2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
