Covered by mesh from what I can see so they must be functional.

I'm sure I read on here that they said they were keeping the raised roof as on previous Disco's. This doesn't have the raised roof.

Went back through the thread appears the side vents are sealed by wrap in every picture.16 D4 Landmark

Air intake may move up to the top of the wings level under the bonnet like the FFRR & RRS21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

They all look open to me. Would be pointless sticking a mesh cover over them if they weren't functional. If they weren't surely they would just pull the wrap over like they have done on the roof rails.

Think it's misleading as the wrap goes over the roof bars, from 10 days ago:
"Design director Gerry McGovern has confirmed that the ‘stadium seating’ for seven under a stepped roof would continue to be a Discovery must-have and that the new ‘Disco’ would be more premium to bring it closer to the Range Rover."==================================

Thats the one! Looks like it won't be as squared of at the back either. Looks like they have just wrapped over a spoiler to make it look square. Its early days and hard to tell but its not looking good to me. Just looks the same as the rest of them so far.

Just checked this thread. Very interesting.
Of course the wade sensing on current cars is (or appears to me) to be basically useless. If I want to see how high the water is under my wing mirrors I open the window and look out!
The wade sensing in the link was talking about REAL sensing. I.e. what your front wheel is about to drop into - I imagine if you're in 3ft of muddy water that might actually be useful!
Of course none of this is going to be cheap....
I heard the current system we have on our cars senses ahead, not directly belowMY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Would it be safe to assume the D5 will have a 900mm wading depth as per the Range Rover or 700mm.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green
