Was she not tempted to take photos of the interior with the window invitingly open?
sorry, she spotted it in traffic, these photos are from someone else.

The DVLA records show that this car is black - not multicoloured.
The DVLA say:-
Quote:
The register maintained by the driver and vehicle licensing agency (DVLA) essentially exists to assist in revenue collection, road safety and law enforcement. The Police and other enforcement agencies rely on the DVLA record for all vehicles-related investigations. It is therefore paramount that the information stored on the vehicle register is accurate and up to date.
DVLA records details given by vehicle manufacturers at first registration. Any changes to the vehicles details must be notified to DVLA by law.
By covering the entire vehicle in a coloured adhesive/vinyl wrap, it is DVLA’s view that the colour change should be recorded. To notify a change of colour you should complete section 7 of the registration certificate V5C and return it to DVLA Swansea SA99 1BA. You should receive a replacement certificate within two to four weeks.
We would like to advice any owner of a vehicle that has had a full colour change wrap that they should inform the DVLA by completing the correct paperwork. Partial wraps and digital printed wraps do not appear to be affected.
So will the police take action in cases such as this? I doubt it.

True, however based on the fact the D4 HSE and LUX/Landmark now come with 20" rims as standard, my gut feeling is that the new D5 will have 20" rims as the smallest size.
I do hope not. At least it seems unlikely that 19" wouldn't fit, at least, even if they aren't offered. I expect it shall get the larger tyre size of the L405 and L494, which is something, but it might also mean a shift to a 235 or 275 tyre if 19" wheels were to be offered.

I think a split tailgate is possible...
I still think so. We don't know where the hinge is and that back end could even be completely false, so there are certainly ways of achieving it.
I think there could be quite a lot hidden by that disguise. Looking at it, I'm thinking the rear end and roofline etc. could still potentially be more "square", so there is a some hope yet. Can't see the front end being to my taste though. Maybe I'm imagining things, but doesn't the rear overhang look as if it will ground when starting up a steep incline?
I too absolutely love the current split rear door on the D3 and D4. Still, not a problem as I don't have the funds in cash to buy one. Have to keep my investments earning an income. Sounds clever dunnit! 2007 Disco3 2.7 tdv6 SE

A more realistic version of these from the concept perhaps.

I think that rear end could well have a thicker layer of disguise than it may appear, which is intended to make it look exactly like it's the Disco Vision hiding underneath and maybe even give the impression to the likes of us that clearence is going to be poorer. Everyone is expecting it to be a lot like the DV, and LR have even told us so, but it may be more different than we think. Not suggesting that must be the case, but it could be. Hopefully 19" wheel will be an option.
I listed the current 19" tire size and the two tires currently mentioned on the prior page. They have the same diameter to the 19":
W % Size Dia in mm
255 55 19 763
255 50 20 763
255 40 22 763LR D3 S Black, Auto TDV6
If it follows the suit of the L405 and L494, however, it would take a 255/55/R20. It would be nice to have this as extra sidewall on a 19" (or smaller still), but LR may see it as justification to drop the 19" option. Those fake/intentional distraction extra pieces that are affixed at the top rear sure make it appear back heavy. If you look at the window line and pretend they aren't there the back still appears huge....at least on those wheels. With a little less offset and larger wheel I bet it will look 8)16 D4 Landmark

You have to imagine it without that rear cowl attached and it still looks very good in my mind. Now we can see some decent street shots it really does look big which is good (for me). Im also imagining (praying) that line across the back above the lights is where the tailgate splits.
