Thanks for all the comments guys, more photos coming soon.
The case sponge smell did not last as it was oxidized. I'm thinking of putting some sponge into one of those zipper bags and see if the smell lasts.Disco 4 SDV6 HSE with Compomotives, BFG 265/65R18s, BigCountry drawer system, Melvill & Moon covers, NL 52L fridge, FR Spare Wheel Carrier, FR Roof Rack, Tenco RTT, FR 50" LED Bar, dual spots, Lift Rods, Mantec Snorkel, C-TEK Dual batt system, 270 Ostrichwing, Maxtrax, Icom ID-5100, Icom ID-51 as secondary, IIDtool BT

I like the use of your verb here - I don't think my Fun Prevention Officer understands the full meaning of the phrase and insists that I have simply ordered "more stuff..."
I think I will need to use the verb 'had to order' more often moving forwards!

Thanks for all the comments and compliments guys!
Today I have purchased a solar power kit to power my fridge and lights
Quote:
Features
The Solar68 can be placed on the ground, on a flat surface, pegged down on one side and hung on the other side
There is no glass so it is almost unbreakable (as long as you don’t drive over it or fold/bend the panel)
It is waterproof so it can even be left out in the rain
A protective sheet is supplied with the Solar68 to prevent stones and mud from scratching the teflon coated surface
The laminate is fitted with a 2 pole 50A connector
Specifications
Cell type triple-junction thin film
Maximum power 68W
Maximum power voltage 16.5V
Maximum power current 4.1A
Length (solar panel) 2895mm
Width (solar panel) 395mm
Weight 5.0kg (5.3kg with the protective sheet)

Morning friends, this past weekend I decided to make some headlight guards for the Landy and decided to share a "How-To" guide with you all.
By undertaking this process I am assuming you know how to remove your headlight cluster as well as your tail light cluster so I will not be posting on how to do that. By following this guide, I will not be held responsible, accountable or liable for any damage you cause to your light clusers or yourself. Do so at your own risk.
Find suitable perspex/ plexi glass. I opted to go for 5mm thickness as I wanted some protection from bigger stones/ branches.
To do this you need a large-ish oven, a flat plate (I just used the grill), a pair of oven gloves, Dremel and safety glasses.
I also bought 8 little squares about the size of 10mm x 10mm in order to test the different temperatures and times in my oven. I HIGHLY recommend you do this for best results.
I set the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, put the first square in for the following times:
10mins - This was way too long, it was very malleable but bubbled and when forming it with my oven gloves there were imprints of the gloves.
8mins - This seemed a bit better but it was still too long as I could see the imprint of the oven gloves
6mins - This was starting to look a lot better but there was still a bit of warping when looking through
5mins - Perfect

Buy a sheet of plastic, I went with A2 size paper pockets from an artist shop as this plastic is a bit stiffer and easier to work with.
Cut the plastic in half, 2 pouches gives you 4 sheets - 1 for each light. I ended up only using 1 pouch as the template can be inverted for the other light.
Place the sheet over the light cluster and draw the outline of the light which will be the cut lines.
Place the plastic with the outlines under the perspex sheet and trace the outline.

Get your Dremel and Safety glasses and get ready to cut. Leave the oven on from your tests earlier

Once you have cut your perspex in the shape of the lights, its now time to put them in the oven.
NOTE: Handy to have your light cluster close by ready for you to quickly place the hot perspex over the cluster to form.
When you remove the perspex from the over, quickly place it over the light cluster and push down with your oven gloves on. You will have to hold it for approx 1 minute to harden to the shape of your headlight. After a minute you can put it under a tap to speed up the cooling process.
Once you have formed your perspex it will look like this
Now its time to do some final mark ups to neaten up your molded perspex.

Final Check

Time to put some sticky pieces onto the light to hold the perspex to it. I had some excess sticky strips from my BlackVue cameras and used those

Well done indeed, top bit of work
Will be interesting to see how well they work, any impact to how well the headlights shine?Iggy/Ieuan

They do not affect the shine of the lights at all - I honestly cannot see the difference.
The only issue i can foresee is cleaning. I need to figure out where I can by those plastic clips that the commercial headlight guards use.Disco 4 SDV6 HSE with Compomotives, BFG 265/65R18s, BigCountry drawer system, Melvill & Moon covers, NL 52L fridge, FR Spare Wheel Carrier, FR Roof Rack, Tenco RTT, FR 50" LED Bar, dual spots, Lift Rods, Mantec Snorkel, C-TEK Dual batt system, 270 Ostrichwing, Maxtrax, Icom ID-5100, Icom ID-51 as secondary, IIDtool BT

Yesterday evening finished up our prototype adjustable spotlight bracket.
See photos below with the spotlights in 2 different width settings. there are 3 settings which allow up to 4 spots to be fitted.
