I think I’ve worked it out. I used H9 65w as suggested in another thread and I think it’s overpowering the light module. Finally tonight after enabling both CCF settings I got both lights to briefly trigger and then not work again. I presume it consumed too much power and has decided it’s a

All done. My solution in the end was to swap the fog (H11) to the H9 I’d purchased and used the H11 in the cornering lights. Seems 55w is the limit the cornering lights would let me have on my D4. It was ok with the 65w H9 in the fog.

I'd say impossible.
Cornering on the MY14 lights is driven from a couple of LED's on top of the semi circular cut outs on the bottom of the lamp - see picture - unit is upside down in this image.
Can't see how this could be easily retrofitted ... so I bought a pair of ABL-Xenons that have them as standard
I know I’m bring omg up an old tread but would have love have the cornering lamps. Is this possibly in the 14 facelift? If so what needs to be done? I already had the US spec xenon adaptive lamps. Are there ya spec lamps with cornering... thought it was only a U.K. spec.

Tom,
That picture above is of a MY14 headlamp. If you have a small LED in the lamp in the corner then yes its just a ccf edit to enable. If not then not possible i’m afraid

Nick - my lamps and vehicle are US spec. The headlights have all the options but cornering as it supposedly isn’t legal in the US... I’m missing the bulbs and would like to add them if possible. Why isn’t it do able? I know the U.K. spec vehicles have the black reflector instead of orange... do any come with cornering and the orange reflector?

Can i ask, if i didn't want to muck about with the headlights, could i power each fog lamp using the feeds for the cornering lights, once disconnected from the fog circuit that is?
This would then mean the fogs were the cornering lamps. Not keen on up the headlamps at that cost.

You could but would be pointless in my opinion as cornering lights light up the curb and light it up very well I must say connecting to the fogs would not light up the curb and would defeat the object
I myself would get some new lights from Europe that drive on the right and sell the ones u haveDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

Fog lamps actually do quite a good job I think.

James - Could I add in the LED circuit to my current US headlights? If so I think this would be cheaper and a heck of alot easier than selling and buying new headlights... plus I would like to keep the orange reflector in the US Spec headlight. They are already Xenon and Adaptive and I could enable cornering with IID tool.

You could if
1 you can get the circuit boards separately
2 you can split the light a d3 you could heat up in oven
For a few minutes and remove the lens but I have heard that the d4 are na on impossible to splitDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

It looks like the headlight has tabs all the way around it that the clear plastic lens goes around. Am I wrong?
