Changed plans to fit in with another event that didn't happen in the end. July might have been more sensible re weather but nothing two sleeping bags and 5 layers isn't fixing.

Key's in the usual place, when you're in there can you just finish the decorating and last bit of plastering? Oh, and plenty wood to stack if you think the wood shed's not up to Rob's standards.
May just have to do that trip next year, looking way to good to just leave it for you Del

Better pic of the camp site. Just been watching a sea eagle (I think) flying around and returning to what looks like a nest site. Weather's meant to be dry tomorrow so will stay at least one more night & explore the area on foot. There's a couple of WW2 emplacements on a small island in front of me, I can get across the gap at low tide but may have to wade back.

Bit windy and chilly outside so breakie cooked in the comfort of the tent. Last of the crumpets , porridge with some muesli and couple of cups of lovely coffee. Will set me up for the day. Off exploring on foot.

What a difference a couple of days makes!! In the Lofotons heading to a place that really skimped on letters, Ã… and it's absolutely chucking it down, plus blowing a houlie so no way I'm camping in the oztent tonight, it'll end up in Denmark!! Stunning chain of islands, if I can see anything of them.
Here's a pic to show what it's like, no way was I getting out of the car though.
