Genuinely mate.
You’ve been so much help with my car I couldn’t have done it all without you. I also notice how much you help others on this awesome forum and I can’t imagine what it would be like on here without you !Jarrod

Cheers buddy
That’s really nice to hear , members here have helped me knowend and is nice that I can give something back as part of the Disco community
Thks again mate
Am still trying to see if multimeter probes can be put onto the back of the injector plugs to get a Vdc reading with the engine running , at least then we will know if number one is getting the correct voltage of 12 Vdc , don’t think the iid can show what each injector has in the ah of Vdc

Interesting... Without checking I assume that they are numbering the injectors in relation to the cylinder firing order?
Just to confuse things 🤣🙈

Hi buddy
didn’t know if u had seen it or not
The way I looked at it is cyl 1 is injector number 6 , back right hand side , unless I’m reading it wrong
Hopefully one of the more senior members can confirm that for u as even I’m confused now
Oh blimey what have I done

Hi mate
My brain hurts
Reading the fault sheet it says cyl 1 so as the injector is number 0 I thought that would be injector number 6
Confused u will be

Hi mate.
Haha yes it is very confusing !
Basically injectors are numbered 0-6 but cylinders are 1-6 however the number injector doesn’t correspond to the cylinder. Eg injector 1 is cylinder 4 etc. You have to cross ref. Nightmare lol.Jarrod

Hi buddy
Thks mate as indeed very confusing , I thought in the chart ref injector 0 and there are another 5 that 0 had to be cyl number 6
I need to lay down
Did u get all ur injectors tested , as I imagine as u also say is electrical ??

Look what I’ve just found
Also meant to say, what’s ur injector live readings now please from the iid , thks
firing order (1 - 4 - 2 - 5 - 3 - 6)
Plus just realised looking on the right hand side of the chart downwards it’s the firing order
Therefore the injectors surely would be in sync with the cyls as per firing order, so if it starts with number 1 which wouldn’t that be TDC
Alas am so confused now looking at the other charts as well
As looking at the chart what number injector is 0 as following the numbers i assumes it would be cyl 6

Well how confusing this lot is now.
Had my injectors tested and they all passed fine. However they are tested at running condition and not at idle. I think at run they are pulsed at open ? I think at idle they do something else as the values are different. If that’s the case what makes them operate this way ? I’ve noticed that I’m not the only one with “cylinder 1 imbalance” code. It’s been mentioned a few times and there’s another thread on it. Seems that something else is at fault perhaps pertaining to it ?Jarrod

Hi mate
Indeed that’s weird , see there’s a slight difference between old and new with the revs , but don’t think it would make that much difference
Can u swap the injectors around to see if it would clear cyl 1
From what I’ve read the inj are suppose to be between 700-1300
If after swapping 2 x inj around and the fault changes to a different cyl assume that would then prove that inj is at fault
