Same size, P7.2 is 320lm and M7 is 400lm. All from memory that can be a bit fuzzy at the edges.
I wasn't paying attention fully, read this as P14.2, hence "it's back comment".
This is a great little torch and for those who of us that drive legacy D3s it fits perfectly in the otherwise useless little slot by the gearbox. That's where mine lives.

Just checked and corrected.
Thing is I have a P7 & T7 (old 180lm types), a 220lm P7 and a P7.2. Along with an M5, a H5, H6, 2 P14s, a P14.2, Fenix TK12, two metal (T6) & one plastic (G6) Nextorches. You can never have too many but SWMBO disagrees.

sorry about the link (thanks Martin for fixing).
Well, you sometimes get what you pay for. If it's just a brand name, then it's often not worth it.
But it may indeed be better - has anyone experience of both? Is it superior? The cheapo one is solidly machined out of aluminium, anodised, and works fine. Has a square spot at distance (i.e. the lens focusses the square led pretty well) and decent flood performance when wound out.
I'm not advocating it, or knocking the other - am genuinely interested to know what the differences are.

ISTR a good few peeps on here trying the cheap Ultrafire ones and they have either arrived broken or fallen apart in short order. At £1.76 it's cheap as chips but I'd be worried about it working when I needed it to work.
Plus doesn't it need a 14050 rechargeable battery & charger? Most of mine use AAAs & AAs so nice and standard.

I bought two of the cheap head torches that others raved about, they look like the real thing, one never worked and they only wanted to refund half the money, the other packed up a few months later. They aren't the same light out put either, it seems cheap lumens are a lot dimmer than Fenix or Led Lenser lumens.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
