Complete Voice Commands List |
|
During my continued Google trawl for information on the KIWI SAT NAV file formats used in the D3 ( a nightmare I'm not even prepared to discuss at this time), I happened across this gem which from memory looks a lot more complete than the list in my manual. In fairness it might even be the list from my manual although the manual is outside and I'm in here with a beer so there's no chance of checking.
I think only the TMC, REARMEDIA and NOTEPAD functions are missing - I'll edit and include anything else I discover later, but here it is :

Hints
· Sometimes when you use voice commands to change zoom levels, the system responds with "Not under route guidance"
To re-enable voice zoom commands use "Navigation Go Home" (assumes Home location has been set) followed by "Navigation Cancel Guidance".
After this, the voice zoom commands will work correctly.

Cor!
For once I'm glad my humble SE doesn't have the voice bit - I can't remember 8 voice commands for my 'phone, never mind THAT list! 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

No matter what I ask of my Sat Nav lady... she nearly always replies in her hoity-toity voice.... Navigation - Airport.
I've tried talking loudly, softly, slowly, naturally. But on the odd occasion she(or me) does get it right, the kids all cheer

Is there a Premium Nav system and a non-Premium Nav system?
I've got a D3 S ex-LR management row vehicle with Sat Nav and Blue Tooth and the only command it understands on voice recognition is "Redial"!

Yes premium and non - premium systems ....
Normally only HSE has premium , unless you add it as an optional extra.
Voice command has an extra button on the left hand side of the steering wheel also. G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I have an HSE. I have voice command on the telephone (it works well) but not on the audio. Is voice command only linked to the premium audio - I have Hi ICE audio? As to sat nav, still await a dvd for east of the German border!

I was reading the list and saw "Treble" and (momentarily forgetting I'm on a UK website) thought: Sweet! You can control the bass and treble settings via voice command!
I'm guessing the voice commands on the American version are 99% the same?
