You know, I'm getting seriously interested by a 3.2V6 Petrol Auto Touareg at £14k. I could sell my D3, get a Treg and have ample change to kit out a 90 or 110 for playtime. Hmmmm.....
Sorry, I go through this every time the car goes to the garage for some warranty tlc, aided and abetted by my neighbour trying to sell me his D3 and my wife, reminding me how I nearly bought a Maserati3200 and why don't I get one of those, it would be more reliable
Ah, we all know I'll keep the D3. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Why is your neighbour trying to sell you your wife - is this a new form of "Pimp my Ride"
I think we should be told.........

The big PETROL VW's do seem to go cheap. One of our directors has one, it's a 3.2v6 on a 55 that he has paid £18k for - it had a list price of £47k with the toys. Also Toerag petrols are cheap.......and ND a Maserati 3200 eh, nice car but 15mpg don't supose you buy one because they are frugal though.... D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.

Sorry NoDo$h, I think I misread your post. I think I must need glasses as I'm sure you mentioned the words 'Maserati' and 'reliable' in the same sentence.
There is an industrial estate near to where I live. I drive past it most days and the owner of one of the companies has a Quattroporte. It is stunning....
I've also seen him parked outside the company twice being attended to by a RACC (similar to RAC/AA in the UK) van. I couldn't help laughing as the RACC guy was looking at the engine with his hands in his pockets and the owner was shouting into his mobile phone both times.
I'm guessing that he was finding out that Maserati Assistance isn't much better than LRA
Moral of the story....."better the devil you know"....keep the D3 Mr Bling....you know you want to.... 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

If I keep the D3 for another year, it will cost me another 12 x £460 PLUS the balloon of £14k. £19,520 in total. In other words, I might as well get my few grand equity out of the vehicle now and go and buy another vehicle outright! 2005 Disco 3 TDV6 7 seater. Leather, DVD, fully colour-coded.

DON'T!!
Saw one of my customers yesterday[after 6 weeks].
He had a FFRR, but just changed it for a Tourag.
He's already traded it in, but now for a RRS.
He hated the ride and couldn't get comfortable in the seats. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
