Whats to discuss on the D5 site? the cars have yet to be delivered, I'm sure when it arrives discussions will be in abundance.[/quote]
The problem could be how much conversation can three people have ,but then if land rover are targeting different kind of people ? then would they look at disco5 site ? probably not .
At the launch i was at the couple i spoke to agreed it was ugly but would still pay over the odds and did not have a clue what this site was or is too me they were a couple of that ain't got a clue what their car is capable off the same with D5 it's just for show.

Now all we need to agree on is to get the people who want to come on to the D4 site to discuss how dated the D4 looks, alongside the absolutely spiffing D5, to take the conversation over to disco5.co.uk.
They seem to have a grand total of around 600 posts there, against 7,000 in the D5 section alone here; I'm sure that the site would welcome the traffic and you can leave all us "Flat Earthers" (as we've been called) to our beards and beer with twigs in it
And this is the D3 site..................................MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

MY11 D4 HSE Stornaway Grey Sold and gone

The gradual taking over of this site by the D5 crew has spoiled it for me now.

2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as โsecondโ cars ๐
2021 to date: Hinckley built โ14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built โ14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!

I think you will find that at 498 posts you are the one that claims the 'take over' of this official D5 discussion thread.
I hope you enjoy doing your 'better things' In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

You definitely spend more time in the 'discovery 5 - L462' threads than I do. ...... And I like the car
Edit-:
Is this another one of those flouncing moments

Meet me on the Erg Chebbi sand dunes in Morocco June next year with your D4 and we will see how your D4 compares with a D5.
Or perhaps Rockingham LRE Or a place of your choice In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

You should have said Blackpool Beach , his D4 will corrode well before yours given the amount of plastic trim the D5 has , its the only chance it has to win anything against a D4
