Swapped in a new engine air filter. Had two of the minions assist me today with holding screwdrivers, the new engine air filter (Mann C31 196), old filter, etc. Taught them what purpose filters serve, was able to show that there were leaves which the filter had prevented from entering the engine.
Replaced front and back wipers with new ones, Bosch AeroTwin Retro 550/530 mm (3 397 118 906) in front and 400 mm (3 397 118 906) in the back.
Ready for the summer!

Fitted new discs and pads to the front, was a simple job until I found one of the slider pins in the caliper carrier on the passenger side was completely seized!! I managed to free it off enough to fit the new parts but I'll be replacing it this week with a new one. It feels like a new car, doesn't pull to the left anymore and feels considerably faster, it must have been binding on for some time! Thanks to Bodsy for the brake bible which helped me do it👍
Also replaced my screen washer fuse after the recent sub-zero spell

Wheel / rubber upgrade
At last I managed to get a set of 19” HSE alloys and a set of Goodyear Wrangler Duratec tyres fitted to my D3 today. Just need some snow and mud to try them out

As my original steering wheel was worn and sticky, I fitted my new recon leather wheel from Royal Steering Wheels....
Smooth leather top and bottom, perforated on the sides.
A small thing but it really makes it feel like driving a new car! Can't recommend it enough!!'06 D3 TDV6 S Cairns Blue

Replaced a missing door buffer (CFM500010) with a new one.
Installed a Britpart 3rd row mat that I got from RB. It was surprisingly nice and does cover all the floor areas behind and under the 2nd row all the way up to where the 3rd row seat cushions start.
The picture RB has for EAH500100PMABP is correct, the bottom of the picture is facing the front and the upper part is where the 3rd row is.
If you have regularly minions or their friends on the third row it’s prerty much a must buy.
