I work on IIDTool only from the phone as a habit
try to find all those options one by one tick them off the list even if you think they come up twice like i said some named similar in different sections of full ccff settings list

You will probably also need to supply Gap with the list of your vehicles ecu info (which you can scan into an e-mail with the Gap tool) as the adaptive radar will probably need to be reflashed to work correctly in your vehicle. Again Gap can sort this out for you although there is a charge for this which is around £25 or so from memory. Good luck!

t's not having the complete list is where I've failed.

You`ve done the scary bit! For info it can take up to 50miles or so of driving for the system to calibrate itself after you have made all the changes. You don`t have to drive it all at once as the system will carry on from where it left off if you have to switch the engine off before calibration is complete.

Morning All.
Just a quick note to say thank you for all the help. Patrick at gap opened up my GAP tool for the full list and I changed the config and up it came. Calibration took about 10 miles. I tried it yesterday and I'm impressed, it works well and I'm glad I've gone to the trouble and fear of doing the upgrade.
I do have a faulty switch pack as the Speed limit button is not working so will have to get another switch pack and change it later.
Having removed the airbag once now, it should be a whole lot less scary!
Again thanks for the help and advise.

Hey guys, wonderful thread here. Poured over it all.
I am stateside and own a 2015MY LR4 (new to me). Super excited to start this project.
Already purchased a radar (FPLA version). However having a hard time finding the switchpack. Here's what i have for the switchpack and bracket:
Switchpack: LR062417
Bracket: LR062475
Does anybody know if the product numbers are different in US? Every dealer website says discontinued and the only one i'm finding are in Europe.

do not seem to find US specific switchpack PN on CAT
not sure about US availability as well might have to get on from UK or Germany

There are 2 switch packs available, LR062416 for colour keyed wheels and LR062417 for wheels with the gloss black trim. You need to make sure that you get the correct one. Both will work but one will be a mismatch to the other switches if you get the wrong colour!  Good luck!

hope u verified the harness is there cos otherwise it iwll be PITA to retrofit

Yes, checked that I have the harness (looks like all 2015MY and 2016MY seem to have the harness).
I have the glossy trim - ordered the switchpack and bracket.
Now just waiting for the arrival and the big mod update... super excited and looking forward to preparing for the big install, then go through each step very slowly (in order to avoid missing a key step), then try it out, then find an error, then realize i still missed an important step, then question why i decided this was a good idea, then regret that i made the decision to go through this process, then come here and beg for help, then receive some help, then re-do everything and finally enjoy the upgraded ride.... yup, super excited.

when you have parts it is easy process and I guess you have nice garage in states to leave bumper off for a bit before you get new flash file to flash you GAP tool with
than process is very easy (kind a)
make sure you battery is nicely recharged for a day! unless you have nice smart charger able to provide juice in supply mode
one radar is installed do the following:
-Start the car
-Connect the tool
-Menu--IIDTool Config--Find ECUs
send ECU list to GAP to obtain firmware
at this stage bumper can back on 
rest is waiting for Pat from gap to give you access to the file you pay 30 quid for
flashing new ECU -
connect tool to the car go :
IIDTool Menu -> ECU Flash -> CCM-Cruise Control
a bit nervous few minutes if all goes well
- next stage is to change the following settings in your ccf using full list:
1/Speed control=Adaptive Speed control
2/Adaptive speed control ecu=Uk/rest of world -------I guess this would be setting to you location ?
3/Adaptive speed control ecu =standard blockage level-40db
4/standard speed control display type= adaptive speed control full display plus priority messages
5/speed control =adaptive speed control
6/adaptive speed control indication in instrument cluster=enabled
7/speed control=adaptive speed control stop and go (this setting worked on mine)
8/forward collision warning =forward collision warning gen 1.
I would confirm those with someone from US who has done it already
Once done have a break pack all  up get it ready for next final stage:
calibration, mine took about 15 min drive from home but went a bit further to supermarket to leave car switched off for 30 minutes suggested after calibration is finished
calibration mode is here:
IIDTool Menu -> Calibration -> CCM-Cruise Control -> Adaptive Align
