The police who park their mobile speed monitoring unit at the lowest point for a hill, cameras pointing uphill. Drove, according to speedometer and Waze, 84-ish and saw a flash go off twice on the vehicle.
Waiting for a “pay or else” letter next week

Jumper9895 if you think Santander Customer service is diabolical you want to try DPD customer service.
Now it is basically impossible to book in a delivery without giving the consignee address, phone number and email.
Well a consignment was sent out to Singapore and arrived there within 3 days where basically it hit a brick wall.
Consignee details were require. Supplied over the phone and confirmed by email.
2 days later consignment still sat there wanting consignee details
Sent again via email and phone.
2 days later repeat above only by email
next day repeat above
next day repeat above
Then get an email requesting consignee details in reply to my email giving consignee details
This went on for 23 days
Then DPD local agent tried to deliver it to the wrong address
3 days later they managed to deliver it to the correct address
Yippee, that consignment finally successfully deliver 4 weeks late. Slight issue due to DPD Singapore incompetence we have lost a returning customer. DPD will not be used for our deliveries to Far East and Australia.

Jury Service - I got another Jury Service citation!
I had one last year and managed to extracate myself from it. I should manage it this time too I suppose. It’s not been two years since the last.
Sorry, but Ive got better things to do and I really don’t give fig. Apathy should be a lawful excuse for excusal.

The authorities narrowed a well used road local to us, to put a cycle lane in. Not only is the road now too narrow for two trucks to pass each other, but the lycra clad cyclists won't use it! So now we can just follow the 'Pelton' and can't overtake because the road is dangerously narrow! Richard

I know where you’re talking about and how many accidents have there been since all those millions were spent, I’ve seen a couple on the Clymping roundabout alone. A cyclist friend told me he wouldn’t use it as they have to cross roads at the afore mentioned roundabout and by the Oystercatcher which slows them down. Well the Leeds Bradford cycle superhighway is 14 miles long, cost £29million as part of the £60 million Cityconnect programme. After the first 2 years they proudly announced 700,000 cycle trips had been made on it.
The bathroom refit that was done last year, we have this morning water coming up, yes up through the floor.
Disco booked at Lookers for service and MOT back in January for today, with courtesy car.
Wife has now today having to take the MIL in to hospital this morning for a three day stay, Lookers call to say they don’t now have a courtesy car for today, they really do not give a regarding customer service.
Today has started well

Which Lookers is this at?
Amersham had mine, battered the rear bumper, parked it so you could not see it. Then when they were asked how it happened, suggested I was lying and the damage was there when I took it to them.
Then took two attempts to spray replacement bumper without runs or chips in it and on second attempt I had to supply some new fixings as they said they were missing before they started.
So if it’s them perhaps a different dealer is a safer bet! Discovery commercial tdv6 auto 2013

Funny you should say that, Lookers at Chipperfield, thought the Amersham one was Jaguar. Last year they managed to put a crease in the drivers door, again parked so you wouldn’t notice it, of course is wasn’t them.

Word is that a new purpose built workshop/showroom being built as we speak at Aston Clinton which Lookers will be moving into and Pratstone at Aylesbury will be closing.
Will see I think what Beatles are like in Watford soon.
