TV remotes that only 'half work'.
Just replaced our old TV (a large dark line/shadow appeared across a third of the screen) with a new one ('smart' one this time). On the old one the remote for the HDD recorder box did everything that the TV remote did so the TV remote got put in a drawer and forgotten about. We did have a second remote for if we switched to the NOW box but that was just if we needed to watch terrestrial through there due to too many recordings or a specific NOW channel to watch.
Got the new TV is all plugged in, literally disconnected two HDMI leads from old TV and put into back of new TV and swopped the power lead over and that was job done, so that was all straightforward....
Now the HDD box remote no longer functions in just a couple of the features; no volume selection and no input selection (to switch between boxes) and doesn't control the 'smart' features of the new TV so the new TV remote required just to control those HDD specific features but that one won't control the HDD box recorder features
So now got to have three remotes and SWMBO isn't happy at all, confusing the hell out of her with a third to get used to, two was one too many .
Worth trying an 'all in one' or will it be incapable of three products to control - and unless the buttons are really clear then it could be worse for SWMBO

They are working from home, the poor poppets. Cut them some slack.
It beats me that I can phone them up, well for National Insurance anyway, and get a different answer each time.
Also why is it the NI records ending April this year aren’t up on their web site yet? It is a yearly beef, but it’s valid especially when they have computers.

You can usually buy them cheaper than the Logitech website price shown there and admittedly not cheap. But I have one controlling five bits of kit. Been there for five-plus years. Works a treat. Masters degree in PC software to programme it mind
ps Likely costs more than the telly "Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"

Peeps who allow their kids run riot in hotel corridors. Two families in different rooms with the Little Darlings running back and forward between the rooms.
Did feel sorry for one of the youngsters, he was coughing most of the night, sometimes to the point of throwing up. I’m not a betting chap but I’d bet a hairy lost wine gum on that being COVID. Needless to say we were up and out before the little plague carriers were awake.

MyHerpes... they can't deliver when I'm sat at home with the front door open BUT.... they managed to drop off some saw blades to my house last night at 03:13AM !!!!! WTF !!! I should be grateful that I got them at all but it does make me wonder what they were doing coming around someone's house at that time in the morning ?
With the increase in thefts from rural properties it's just asking for trouble...I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Today is a weeks anniversary since I dislocated my knee. I’m always on the go doing something around the house /garden. I’m still hobbling around on crutches and have no strength yet to stand on my own 2 feet, much to my wife’s continuing telling off when I do something. Frustrated and fed up .visiting from www.rrsport.co.uk

for the 2000 !
my blades are for my dad's B&D Scorpion saw. Surely the worst design of reciprocating saw ever ? But at least it will have usable blades now.

Having to listen to son on the phone telling me about his latest lecture on hypothalamic obesity. I turned off within 10 seconds, it’s way above my pay grade, just uttering the odd word of encouragement when a gap presented itself. It lasted an hour!
