Motor homers who think they are wild camping when in reality they are parked by the side of the road or in a carpark and think they have a god giving right to camp where they like even if it upsets the locals.

What is worse they rarely spend money in local shops, fuel stations, pubs etc. They rather spend their money in larger supermarkets, stock up with food/beer/wine/fuel and go for free 'camping' rather then spend a little bit more money and support the rural economy.

They claim otherwise, but even so still spend less than those who stay on sites as we have to pay our site fees, we do free camp occasionally but only if we can find a quiet discrete spot.

only in the UK, although granted uk motorhome people tend to be odd, could this be a thing.

Us odd never Mr. Green

Actually its quite big in Europe, so much so they have a legal definition of camping, which is not the same as sleeping in your vehicle, so if it says no camping that means you cant put anything outside your vehicle even open window on the sides that project from the vehicle but you can carry out activities including sleeping inside your vehicle. They also have places called Aires that tend to be glorified carparks with waste disposal points and water sometimes electric, where you can stop overnight but you cant camp!

Watching a documentary on a commercial channel & when the prog resumes after the adverts they feel the need to remind us what we'd watched before the ads. Why? Do they they think our memory span is that short, or perhaps the previous part was so boring that we'd dismissed it.

Worse than that, just before the adverts they go "coming up" and they show you half of what will be on after the adverts

Crofters driving a tractor with large trailers on single track roads that go at breakneck speed and force you to take to the verge to avoid them.

Wouldn’t mind, but I’d had selected reverse to go back to a passing place, the guy didn’t give me time to do that, just kept coming. Have to find the Blackvue footage. Evil or Very Mad

Had this during the week. I had to park in a multi-storey near my client's office and spaces are a bit tight, so went up two clear floors to get one of a handful of extra wide spaces. Got back to the car 4 hours later and there was someone not just parked next to me, but they had made the effort to park over the line at a jaunty angle too.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I see this all the time. I park at the far end of supermarket car-parks etc nowhere near another car and when I get back there is often some absolute cretin parked directly next to me!!!!!!

It's rare I get asked to do anything practical these days but a client was desperate. They then told me I couldn't use a soldering iron without going on a course. Confused
