People who start a sentence, or reply to a question, with their first word being 'so'.......
Becoming the norm I fear, particularly on TV and radio, and it absolutely makes my toes curl.
Please somebody....
.....Make it stop
And don't get me started about broadcasters with short tongued speech impediments - how did they get employed in broadcasting if they can't talk properly? There's a woman on BBC radio 2 from 5am who I have to turn off - her speech is simply excrutiating.

Ooh, me too! I hate it. I think it's come over from the US (where else?) as a way to stop people saying "um". Of course, if people avoided speaking until they knew what they were going to say, they wouldn't need to use these silly props.
I had to bite my keyboard recently when someone posted on RRSport and started their comment with "So,[...]". I kid you not.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

People who say.... in one fowl/foul swoop when is should be "one fell swoop". The real reason it irritates me is that I spent 25 of my 45 years saying it wrong myself

People who say " visa versa" when they should of course be saying "vice versa".
It's Latin you dimwits, get it right.
Also, people who say "He's turned round and said". Why has he turned around, was he facing away from you?
Also, British people who insist on saying the americanism "Skedule" instead of "schedule"
And finally, anybody who likes to use the phrase "going forward"
There may be more.
Here's another, people who type the word "of" instead of "have". Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos
FBH Remote Control
The 1st Ever RRS Modded Grill
Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
Rear Boot Spoiler.
Twin Brake Lights.
Wing Mirror Indicator Repeaters.
Long Roof Rails

I tell you what's got my goat up today. Firstly, the crap roads in Norfolk. Took me 2 hours to drive 50 miles to the airport. Secondly, the length of time you have to wait for baggage reclaim at Manchester airport T3. It took almost as long as the flight to collect my bag and get a taxi.
And thirdly, the valuation on my car!

Oooh Narpy!
Two more I agree with! Whatever happened to 'in future'? Going forward is more business BS pervading everyday speak.

Also, loads of examples of "loose" being used instead of "lose"
But the most ridiculous of all, not seen it here I have to be honest, is clowns who use the word "Are" when they actually mean "Our". Idiots.
A classic example is the description title to this eBay listing: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Focus-1-6-D...Sw2xRYmK1Z
Read it and weep. Mods:
