Collected out latest V8 yesterday, its 54 plate SE in Buckingham Blue, can't see another one on that colour on here yet?
Needs a little work, its just had a thermostat housing fitted the other day but noticed a small leak this afternoon from somewhere, although the 2 hour drive home yesterday it was all ok. !!
I'll be doing the following work on it soon enough;
New front lower arms.
LPG repair/service (Avon autogas)
new PCV
Rear boot gas struts (won't stay open with rear ladder fitted).
Bodsy gearbox flush
Purchase an iiD tool.
Idle/pulleys and belts. & check coolant hoses.
Also need to investiate the following;
Coolant leak as mentioned above;
Drivers heated seat not working.
Can't find coolant T-piece yet !! but will replace that when I do !!
Hope to keep this for years to come and do some trips in it, it's the wife's daily as she wanted another D3 and I won't let her have a Derv ...
Pics soon.
Oh front lights come on when you put it in any gear, and turn off when you select park. Could it be set up for Scandinavia DRL ??*D3 V8 SE Blue 2004 on LPG with Rock sliders, roof rack/Ladder, snorkel, 275/65x18 STT Muds, engine/G/box ally protection.

Changed inner and outer track rod ends today with a four wheel alignment afterwards. I know I said “didn’t notice anything in advance” but I sure did afterward. The steering wheel is much firmer when driving and it felt like a new car
Used a kit from AF with Meyle and TRW parts.
Also, predictably, passed inspection this time.

As they should with the ignition key in and turned on to position 1
Been doing some work on our V8 the last week or so;
Replaced all spark plugs, new air filter, new PCV valve. Installed a cubby fridge and then removed it again as it didn't power up !
Installed new 620NM boot gas struts as the orig ones weren't up to the job with the ladder on the back.
Got Bodsy coming in a few weeks for a g/box flush, and will also get the LPG serviced too.
Still plenty more to do ...*D3 V8 SE Blue 2004 on LPG with Rock sliders, roof rack/Ladder, snorkel, 275/65x18 STT Muds, engine/G/box ally protection.
