DM - If I have missed this in the 5 pages - I do apologise for asking this.
Of course the TDV8 was available in the RRS L320 and we were always told that there was not the room for the TDV8 in the the D3/D4. Now given the similarity with the front ends of both cars I always found that a bit odd.
Putting aside wiring and plumbing, based on your experience is there any real reason that the TDV8 could not have been fitted as an OEM option for the D3/D4 at the factory build stage. If there was a good reason, what would it have been as from what I can see in this thread little structural changes have been needed.
