You pay a deposit here for the bottle, that's against my religion!! Luuuuverly ice cold, fridge temp sender has been sitting at -0.5 most of the day, and that's at the top of the fridge.
Looked at the local supermarket market & couldn't face rabbit food so headed to the Micky Dees next door. Really good burger & fries, with Tesco supplying the liquid refreshment.
This has been a long day. Spent most of the day trying to avoid crashes and traffic jams, only to end up in more traffic jams as a result of crashes. A few of them I could detour around most of them I ended up just sitting in. The big one around Bremen i managed to take a detour that resulted man driving down single track road with the motorway power, now not sure if it helped but at least it is moving. This is my alternative to the A7, after the road widened in the bit.

A first for me, thought that aircraft looked like a Baluga and sure enough it was.

550 miles done, 480 to do tomorrow to Jönkoping. Hope traffic is better than today. Will get off early and sort breakie out en-route. Got the insanity of the A7 north to Denmark to look forward to, hopefully the Donald Cambell wanna-bes are still asleep.
Cars doing fine, really windy most of the day, I left the good weather in Folkestone, hopefully that will blow through tonight.

Only if you were in that dark blue D5 that honked and waved as I was plodding along the first bit of Belgian motorway. Well I think that's where it was, it seems weeks ago.

She is the best wifey I've got.
And lurks here as she finds out more about where I've been than in our phone calls. Mind you not sure she's that impressed that I've got unlimited minutes.
Hi dear.

Then you indeed have the first (and only in all my Road Trips) spot.
Thanks for the cheery wave, sorry I didn't reciprocate, brain wasn't firing on all cylinders then.

Once itâs gone, itâs gone. Resisting the temptation to stock up at the supermarket here, once I reach Sweden & Finland the price tends to counteract my sweet tooth. And re Norway, they have a mega sugar tax so my diet is safe there.

It's not that slight a detour!! Scandinavia via your gaff is like London to Manchester via Bristol. Besides, just filled up here at Shell garage for âŹ1.199 so cheap enough for me. It's only gonna get more expensive the further North I go.

DSL, if/when youâre in Finland you might want to download âfuel fellowâ - crowdsourced prices. Should work in Sweden too if youâre going that way.
Diesel is here now at midsummer weekend time 1.3-1.4 e/liter, 95E10 1.5-1.6 e/liter. Itâs a jump of 10-15 euro cents in a few days time. Youâll get gouged worse in small places where there is only one or two stations - so mono/duopoly. Expect to pay additional 10-20 cents per liter...
In Hirvensalmi, last weekend, the price for 95E10 was 1.749/l while on the main roads 10-20 km away the price was around 1.45-1.54.

I had used tankkaus.com but that doesn't seem to get updated much. Got a couple of websites for Sweden, the cheap ST1 stations I know are no longer cheap.
Had a look at Fuel Fellow, only available through the Finnish apps store, when I revert back to UK (which it tells me I have to do) store it can't find it. Stupid piggin Apple!
