And the other thing that I should add is that I took photos of the connector colour locations and loom runs so that I had something to refer to for reassembly. I do think that each plug and socket are uniquely paired so that you cannot get it wrong but I didn't want to take that chance! Not such a Disco Newbie now!

Thanks again. Makes perfect sense.
I’ve checked the hose diameter and the recommended push fit connector in the video and is 12mm so going to get one ordered.
I’m also going to try to get a bit of pipe to make the glove box pin removal tool he uses (as well as ordering spare pins).

I'm gearing up to do this now, as all my bits and pieces have arrived.
Really sorry, but can't find any references to 'putting the car to sleep' and disconnecting the battery how to. Can someone point me in the right direction?
