Raining in, can anyone recognise this source
Hi all, passenger footwell was soaking, it has dried over the last few months of sun. First time it rained I got a wet floor again. I am guessing sun roof drain grommet. Can anyone recognise it in these photos from their own experience.
Aircon drain hose is clear, headliner is dry, seems to be in the corner of the carpet with maybe a drip on the trim.

Photos?????
You need to check the drains are clear. There are two, one each side. They run down the A pillars and run out into the air intake vents on the outside of each front wing. The ends are notorious for blocking up so firstly ensure they are clear by removing each wing grill and podging the end with something. Be prepared to get a wet arm if the tube is full of water. Easier still to pour a cup of water into the sunroof gutter and see where/if it comes out.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

When mine rotted the end off if you poured water in the top most of it still came out in the wheel arch.
It took me a while to work it out but carpets stayed wet and when Iβd taken the cjb out you could see that the tube was still aligned with the hole so let most of the water out but also leaked in to the car.
Itβs not the easiest job on the passenger side but can be done with a bit of patience.
This was mine against the new one

Itβs also worth checking the A pillar under the trim and sealing the holes if they have not been done.
It can also leak in through the pollen filter from under the scuttle panel.
Check the pollen filter to see if itβs wet as it will be if the leak is from under the scuttle panel.
Good luck and hope you get it sorted D4 2016 Landmark, Waitomo Grey.

Not sure as the last one I did was on a D3.
You may well be able to on a D4 as it has a vent both sides.

Fixed
Yeyy, fixed it. You can access the drain tube behind the side vent, and with a bit of poking it was blocked. Tested it with the watering can and it is dry now.
Simple fix, thanks everyone for the good pointers.Discovery 4 3.0 HSE 2010 year. I like it a lot. Now with winch π
