Now got a set of 19 inch rims to replace my 17 inch wheels , have been looking at the Falken Wild peak A/T AT3WA , 255/55/19- and the Yokohama geolander AT GO15 , plus see the tyres are both 3PMSF and will leave them on all year round , are also reasonably priced at around £125.00 each , ideal as I do very low mileage the age of the tyres will come first before tread wear
will also at some stage do the V8 brake upgrade

Where did you see that price?
Most shops provide the Wildpeak AT3WA instead of AT3W. Thread pattern looks different, but both seem to have 3PMSF.

Hi been watching this post for ages and I have been researching A/T tyres I see you have no mention of the TOYO OPEN COUNTRY A/T III this looks very simular to the dura tech but has an H rating
Here is a link to a picture

That's because they are not available in europe as far as I can see. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks to all for this great post
Hi All
I am looking for a nice chunky set of tyre for my recently purchased MY13 D4 and this post asked all the same questions I had. So glad I found it.
I have recently sold my LWB Shogun on which I was running BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 265/65 R17 S (120) which we brilliant in all conditions over a number of years, covering 40k miles.
My D4 has the 19" rims so I was very disappointed to find that BFG aren't available in 19's.
I was edging to Scorpion AT+ because they look good.... any reason to avoid?
Any further reports on Discoverer AT3 Sport 2? With the ratings being better in wet and on road they may be a better option.... but the AT+ look so damn good...
CheersMany Thanks

The Grabber X3 is a mud tyre so quite extreme for road use unless one really needs the mud performance every day - such as being a lumberjack. It's also not apparently available in 19in according to General Tyres' website.

Hey, guys,
I've been using the grabbers AT2 on a 18 rim for a long, long time, quite pleased with them.
Now I'm beginning the search for the next tyres for my D3...
I'm looking for something similar to my AT2, but 3PMSF rated, and a bit better on mud and rocks if possible. I'd like to feel better when facing a mud hole on the track, or very rocky tracks, with sharp, cutting edge rocks... My AT2 have a lot of cuts over the sidewalls, most of them result of my yearly participations in the Land Rover Party...
I would like to keep the original tyre sizes and load rating (255/60 R18 112H), exceptuating the speed rating if needed (a lower speed rated tyre may be fitted if marked as M+S).
I'm going to use them the whole year, mainly on road, but I don't mind losing some performances on the black stuff when comparing the new tyres with a 100% road tyre...
That said, I'm looking at the following tyres:
General Grabber AT3 (they seem a bit more on road biased than the AT2, and I'm looking for something a bit more "off")
Davanti Terratoura A/T. I found very little information about them. Designed in UK and produced in China, if I'm not mistaken, but very few feedback on the net...
Nokian Outpost A/T. A 2022 model of a well-known winter (and other) tyre maker. They look good, and I like them, but I found even less feedback of them on the net.
Does anybody know something about the Terratoura or the Outpost?
Thank-you; your spreadsheets have been of great use to many of us.

Looking on Pirelli's website, the Scorpion AT+ isn't available in 255/55/19 size anymore. Of course, Pirelli have a habit of changing what sizes are available for each tyre which makes choosing tricky. No doubt they will still be in the supply chain but for how long and will they be available in future?
Mine might need to be replaced for the coming winter and the Grabber AT3 is looking favourite unless I can source the AT+ again.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
