Any real world reviews of the yokohamas?
I've had them fitted since Friday lunchtime, and only done 250 odd road miles since, so they are still being "run-in".
As we all know it's been very wet, so I haven't "pushed" the tyres in any way, save for a single deliberate hard stop on a deserted road a few miles ago. Pulled up all square & no problems.
As an aside I'm quite surprised how "un-agressive" the tyres look.
First off-roading on Wednesday when I'm shooting, and I should have covered 1,00 miles by the next week, when I'll report again.

I'd be very interested in your update after a few weeks now.
Did you get them locally? I'm quite close to you, between Southampton & Portsmouth so a local recommendation would be great.

I run Cooper Weathermaster 255/55 R20 110T XL all year round they look good and have an aggressive tread and purposeful look look and are reasonably quiet as well as being a brilliant Winter Tyre that can even be studded and wear is great. (And only £128)

Time for a new set for me as well.
Was leaning towards the Cooper, but the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W look good as well.
Well, I say that, but from what I can see there are two types/tread patterns and I am confused!
A couple of thousand miles now, under every condition, motorways, floods, off-road.
I'm very pleased; they are confidence inspiring, quiet and appear to wear well, as far as one can tell to date.
I had a disastrous slow speed puncture on a very remote rural lane last week. I ran over a large flint in a puddle, which completely ruined the tyre in question - down to 3 psi in 50 yards! I don't blame the tyres, just inadequate drainage, which meant I couldn't see the flint, as it was under water. I later recovered it, to protect other road users, it was twice as big as my fist & had two razor sharp edges.
It will be interesting to see how they perform when the road temperature rises.
Purchased from Horndean Tyres, whom I highly recommend, at £143.40 per tyre, fitted & balanced.

I'm a tart, so these things matter to me. Does anybody know which is the correct tyre tread? Anybody fitted them? Am I going mad??!

Well a puncture on the edge right next to the side wall, that can't be repaired and a spare that had the shoulder knocked off from over ambitous cornering has lead to me buying two new tyres...
I've gone for the Cooper Discoverer ATT 255/55/19 and I got them for £116.54 each! And that's delivered too!! 8)
Not sure if i'm allowed to share/advertise webpages so Admin please remove if not allowed.
I'll get them fitted for £10 a corner and hopefully get the other two sorted in the next few weeks.
What a bargain! Hence I thought i'd share.

They're two different sites it seems. One is US, the other UK.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

I have Cooper Discoverer sport A/T and I am thoroughly impressed with them. Quiet on the roads and they seem to just get on with the job on and off road.
5,000 miles in and hardly any wear.

I'd decided on them in 265/65/18 but have decided to stick with 19. There are a lot more options in 19 (which is sort of good)...
I'm hoping to avoid repeating the hours of research on tyreleader!
I've had the geolandar g015 for 17000kms now and really happy with them.
No difference in noise compared to general grabber gt's.
Great handling in dry and wet. Not much real offroading, but as a forestworker I drive 50/50 on asphalt and gravel.
They have also worked superb in finnish winter conditions - and this year we have really had every possible winter weather from shiny icy roads to 10-20cm of fresh snow in the morning when driving before snowplows.
So after 17000km no clear signs of tyre wear and I'm hoping to push them up to the 50000km at least before replacing.Discovery 4 3.0TDV6 MY11
I have just put a set of radar renegade at5 on mine. I had never heard of them before but apparently they are a copy of the copper's and had decent reviews
first impressions after a couple of thousand of miles is they are good. the grip feels better in corners handle rain well. obviously we have had no snow and ice so can't comment on that but they have coped well with the mud we have had recently on site. still managing to go through deep sloppy mud.
still early days but am impressed so far they where £528 for 4 fitted they where a bit noisier for the first 500-600 miles but have settled down nicely

Me too with the radar renegades, got mine from a chap who had them new and they didn't fit his car so took a gamble for £400. Chuffed with them and also gutted no snow as yet but I'm sure they'll be great.
Can't speak for how they are Vs others as had mis matched road tyres on when we bought the car and they are slightly noisier after 50mph but not intrusive over the radio. Has to be said you can hear the car coming down the road from the roadside

Would be the only choice for me. The discerning tyre.
