Wasn't there a famous scam involving these (it might be an urban myth)?
A couple would advertise sex dolls at a good price but would send out dolls with punctures. The buyer would send it back for a refund and would, in turn, receive a cheque from 'Pervy Sex Doll Specialist Ltd' (or similar). The buyers rarely cashed these (in the days when you had to go into a bank and the bank clerk would see the name on the cheque) and after six months the scammers got to keep the money.
In my desk drawer I have some re-recordable sound modules. I'm sure theses could be used to augment a 'plastic interaction' with phrases such as "I think this ceiling needs another coat...", etc.,

Were these surplus to your own requirements? 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.
