I was referring specifically to the joke thread. I have seen the other thread, but have declined until recently to comment. I don't particularly find the virus a laughing matter.

Yep. It would seem so. In my line of work it seems to be something I need to balance - not easy however. Nor is it funny. You have a good day further.

I find this thread extremly helpful to balance things in these times. I can understand people if they are personaly afected in any way or in line of work, and probably I would be as well in such situation, but nevertheless I find this more helpful then the other way round.

I wouldn’t go as far as saying it was uniquely British, but dark and death bed humour is most definitely a trait that some people from other cultures will find hard to comprehend.
