Hi,no problem,it’s all very confusing at first.
On the top bar you should have a cog wheel icon which is your settings.Once you click on that there are multiple options.
Go to this link https://phoenixautomotivellc.freshdesk.com/support/solutions and scroll down to Px6 which gives you the codes and instructions.
Regards
Andy

So the 1st main issue I wanted to correct was the open door symbol being the wrong way round. I followed the guide on phoenix but I don’t have an advanced settings option? I did have an install set option, but the passcode of 8861 didn’t work. Any ideas?

mate - you're a star! That worked Very Happy

Now I just need to figure out everything else Wink

One thing I noticed last night, when I press the night mode button on the top left of the screen (looks like a crescent moon) it just switched the screen off rather than dimming it. Having now adjusted the dimming settings, it still just switches the screen off completely?

Thanks

I have now imported 4 kits, duty is around £26.00.This is the latest which I am rooting and programming on the bench before installation.

Hi Andy,

I noticed on this picture, you don't have the phone buttons at the bottom of the screen to the right and left of the Bluetooth arrows which you do have in later pictures. Is there something I'm not seeing within the settings which places the phone buttons there?

I'm still having issues with the speedometer reverting back to kmh rather than mph despite changing and saving this setting several times? Any ideas to resolve this one?

Thanks

I have not been able to alter the kph to mph using the pre loaded software,it probably can be done after getting root access and rewriting the codes.Or you could ask the supplier to send you an update. However there is an easier way of getting an mph display and rearranging icons to suit your needs.Download and install an android launcher. I am using CarWebGuru and it’s pretty easy to configure. If you have an android phone you can practice on that.
There are several different launchers available, once loaded and given permission it’s just like a new operating system with amazing results and miles better than the original.

Hi, my first post I’ve been following the thread for a while and have bought a unit from Yanav. Has anyone looked into updating the android version to v10?

I also have the 360 camera system and I’ve noticed that the stock Land Rover display on the camera view now flickers has anyone experienced this issue?

Hi and welcome.
I read on the XDA developers forum that you can upgrade to Android 10 using an app called mod installer pro. I don’t think you can do it in the normal way over the air by looking for an update.Do some research and let us know how you get on.
As for the camera problem, there are various settings in the installer menu that you could try.
Andy

Aaarrrrggghhhh Embarassed
This thing is starting to do my nut in now!
Finally managed to find a replacement AUX input and fitted it at the weekend so all is well, or so I thought.
issue 1 - whenever I play sound through the head unit (android side) I'm only getting sound from the front right speaker - works fine when using the LR side playing anything.
issue 2 - don't seem to be getting any GPS information on the android side (waze) but no issues on the LR side using the standard nav system.
I tried using the provided GPS receiver but no change - irrespective of which antenna input I attach it.

Any ideas of what to try next?

Hi,under settings/general there is an app called GPS Monitor, check your signal strength to make sure you are connected to the correct input terminal and not the Wi-Fi one.
As for the auxiliary problems, can you connect another device and see what happens because it sounds like a problem with the input socket.

Hi Andy,

GPS monitor is showing as working so I'm not sure where to head next?
The original AUX input on the vehicle was bust so I've swapped that out and confirmed it's working. It just seems that when I switch to the android side, I'm only getting sound from the one speaker Question

How many satellites and what signal strength are you getting on the monitor.
Is it possible that you altered the sound settings in your equalizer.

GPS is showing as tickety boo, but for some reason, Waze just keeps saying “searching for network”

Sound settings are all as pre programmed on arrival 🤷‍♂️

I’m using Waze through CarPlay which means using my phone as a hotspot, I also have a mobile internet dongle. I think perhaps Waze only works with internet connection (google it) hence your “searching for network “message.Try another navigation such as Google maps,it’s probably already loaded.
I am at a loss regarding your auxiliary input problem, I still suspect a faulty socket. I have spare output harnesses (the white plug) which you can borrow to eliminate the possibility of a wiring fault.

Hi Andy - that’s incredibly kind of you.

Can you take a hi res picture of the wires feeding into the white plug and I’ll compare that to what I have please?

The GPS drama is a bit mental. If I put Waze on whilst I’m driving, it shows where I am and the map moves as it should, but it still displays that it’s searching for network, and if I try inputting a destination, it just says error.
This is just so much fun but I’m sure I’ll get there eventually Big Cry
