Good on you Gary! Reckon it'll be good to get the car back on the road, and hopefully all is sorted out
Many thks , it’s certainly been a very long winded job that’s for sure , getting the new air inlet duct in and clips was a complete
Will have another crack at it next weekend , once I get the TCM module and battery back in I’ll then need to bell out all the sensors that have the 5 Vdc feed to ensure there 100%
But will get all the fan and cowl , plus the Y throttle body back in then go from there
Thks again and indeed will be so nice to get it back on the road

Plus out of curiosity how do u get the gap iid picture to show up in ur signature please, many thks
Sorry, I missed this Gary. It’s actually so long ago when I did that, I cannot remember how I did it . Maybe someone who has done this recently can explain it
Update….. here is an image ( from PatGapInnov gallery), there are some others too, ie. if you have the Pro version….. Try putting it in your signature…..
No probs and many thks for the pic, will indeed see if that works putting it in the signature

When it’s all done , next job will be to get the 19 wheels fitted , think I’m going to try the Falken Wildpeak tyres out , best price I’ve seen is around £138 per corner, plus fitting , balancing

So today I managed to do a little more , got the following fitted
Fan
Upper and lower fan cowl
Throttle body
Egr pipes
De pinned broken air temp sensor connector
Removed old conduit and replaced with new as much as I could on the engine
TCM module
ECM connectors back on
Engine cover with sound insulation fitted
Fitted discovery 4 deep centre coin tray
Left the plastic cover in the intercooler turbo pipe
Got left to do
Tidy large loom by ECM/ TCM
Air filter inlet tube , also see if the new bolts i fitted to secure the air inlet will work
Battery
Try and get the hoses/ pipes back on that are fitted to the lower rad cowl underneath an access metal cover
Also think I may have found some new engine cover rubber grommets , will advise once there delivered if there correct
Just wished to update this and blimey nothing like stretching a job out as it’s been off the road for around 6 x months

Many thks
Alas still got a few more bits to do before I can start the engine , must confess I’m really praying it has after all the work I’ve put into this , hope I never have to replace an air inlet tube ever again as it was a serious pain
Don’t know when I’ll be able to do some more as need to rest up after today , also is in the back of my mind how the hell im going to get the hoses/ pipes reattached to the lower fan cowl as it accessed via a small metal plate under the front of the engine
Apologises I’m waffling again, lol, thks again and will indeed update the thread again once I’ve got it started , must admit felt extremely pleased making some progress in trying to get it back on the road , plus was really chuffed that deep centre console coin tray fitted

Plus forgot to ask, can anyone be so kind plse to recommend some heatshrink as want to finish the ends of the new conduit where it terminates at the electrical connectors
Would it be best to use 3-1 or 4-1 also see that many of the heatshrink has adhesive , never used it before
If anyone would be so kind to share a link in what heatshrink you’ve used in the past please
Many thks
