Guys, I'm not sure if you saw my posts, but you don't really need the blanking plates.

Its much easier if you remove the EGR 'spouts' from the sides of the air inlet and flatten them with a vice or pliers.

You could always buy new ones or open them up again if you're worried about an emissions test etc, they're only made out of a soft alloy.

And its much easier, no delving down the side of the engine and losing gaskets etc.

Just a suggestion.
